A POCKET'S SPRING'S
PURPOSE
TPS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE POCKETED SPRING WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED IN RESPONSE TO TRADITIONAL INNERSPRING'S TRAMPOLINE EFFECT, NOISE, MOTION TRANSFER AND LACK OF CONFORMING TO THE BODY. BY ADDING FLYPAPER (SKRIM) TO THE COIL SYSTEM, SEVERAL OF THESE ADVANTAGES ARE MINIMIZED AND COSTS INCREASE. THE QUADCOIL WAS DEVELOPED TO IMPROVE UPON THE ORIGINAL DESIGN AND ELIMINATE THE SKRIM.
